Rope Rescue Technician

Description:

The Rope Rescue Technician course is designed to expand upon the students’ existing operations level skills with additional tactics, techniques, and procedures. Topics of this class will focus on technician level rope skills such as ascending and descending rope, self-rescue, litter tending, pick-off style rescues, utilizing fall protection equipment, and rigging systems designed to maneuver patients horizontally.

Format:

Blended Learning - Students will complete the self-paced, online material, then complete their practical skills training with an ETRS instructor.

Length:

24 hours (online + skills)

Pre-Requisites:

At least 18 years of age, Rope Rescue Operations (minimum 24 hours)

Cost:

$150 individual enrollment in online material
