Hazardous Materials Operations: Refresher

Description:

This class is based on NFPA 470 Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Standard for Responders. It is designed for first responders so they can stay compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations that require annual refresher training. Refresher course topics include properties and effects, recognition and identification, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency decontamination, and radiological emergencies.

Note: In February 2026, this course will be revamped and renamed to "Hazardous Materials Operations: Multi-Gas Detectors." PA DOH EMS Con-Ed will no longer be available at that time.
