Students will learn about important relevant hazardous materials properties and effects, air monitoring terms, toxicity levels, and the strengths and limitations of multi-gas detectors. The course material places an emphasis on properly interpreting readings from multi-gas detectors. This knowledge is essential to ensure the safety of all personnel during emergency operations.
