Machinery Rescue Awareness

Online Course

Course Description:

Machinery accidents injure 18,000 and kill 800 workers every year in the United States. In some cases, patients will still be entrapped in machinery when first responders arrive on-scene. This program will introduce first responders to machinery rescue at the awareness level. Topics include types of machinery, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, the machinery rescue sequence, and basic elevator rescue considerations. This course is the pre-requisite for our hands-on Machinery Rescue Operations course.
