Respiratory Protection Awareness

Course Description:

Inhalation hazards are present in a wide variety of industries. In 2021, there were 78 inhalation-related workplace fatalities in the United States. This course will teach the student about workplace inhalation hazards, different types of respirators, and medical considerations related to respirator use. Additionally, the student will learn about some of the major requirements for an OSHA compliant respiratory protection program.

Standards:

This program is based on OSHA 1910.134 Respiratory Protection.

Certificates:

Elder Technical Rescue Services LLC will issue certificates of completion to students successfully completing the program.
