Part-Time Safety and Rescue Consultant (Water Specialty)

Elder Technical Rescue Services LLC (ETRS) is currently searching for a Safety and Rescue Consultant that has the certifications and experience needed to teach Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) water rescue programs. Most of our courses are held in southeastern Pennsylvania, but we are expanding.

This is a part-time, casual position (non-exempt) that will teach safety and rescue classes and provide other consulting services on an as-needed basis. You will play an integral role in the services that ETRS provides to help make our communities safer.


What You'll Do

  • Meet clients to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Develop solutions and recommendations to correct problems or increase efficiency.
  • Deliver safety and technical rescue training and education programs.
  • Create a welcoming and safe learning environment that encourages student involvement and participation.
  • Participate in the company’s continuous quality improvement system.
  • Prioritize safety in all activities conducted with the company.
  • Continue professional development and growth according to company policies, personal interests, certification requirements, and other safety regulations.


What You've Accomplished

  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in the safety and emergency services fields
  • Fire Service Instructor Level 1 certification (or equivalent)
  • Incident Safety Officer certification (or equivalent)
  • PFBC WRER Instructor
  • PFBC ALSR, EBOR, and IRER Instructor (preferred)
  • American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification (preferred)
