Confined Space Entry Awareness

Online Course

Course Description:

Between 2011 and 2018, 1,030 workers in the United States lost their lives from occupational injuries involving a confined space. These deaths were preventable. This course will introduce the student to confined spaces and the dangers within them. It will also teach the major requirements for permit-required confined space programs found in the OSHA standards. Lastly, the student will be able to identify the actions that first responders at the awareness level can take when responding to a confined space rescue.
