Machinery Rescue Awareness
Tower Rescue Awareness

Technical Rescue Training Day gives students the opportunity to complete two Elder Technical Rescue Services classes in the same day.  Machinery Rescue Awareness and Tower Rescue Awareness will teach emergency responders how to perform a size-up of machinery and tower rescue incidents, so that safe and effective responses can be implemented.  Students will implement scene management strategies and learn how to recognize and mitigate hazards.  Students will discuss machinery components, lockout/tagout, elevator rescue techniques, medical considerations, RF transmissions, fall protection, case studies, and more.

PA DOH EMS Con-Ed:
Machinery Rescue Awareness – 2.5 hrs (1.0 clinical)
Tower Rescue Awareness – 2.5 hrs (0.5 clinical)

Additional Information:

Electronic certificates indicating compliance with NFPA 1006 will be issued from Elder Technical Rescue Services.

A portion of the proceeds from this Technical Rescue Training Day event will be donated to Pets for Vets in honor of the class being held on Veteran’s Day weekend.
