The second day of class will take place in the field at a specific location TBD.
This class teaches the fundamentals of rope rescue at the operations level. Students will learn about rope characteristics, hardware used in rigging, knots, anchors, belays, mechanical advantage systems, and patient packaging techniques in stokes baskets and Sked stretchers. Students will utilize these skills in low angle scenario-based evolutions. The skills learned in this class are truly the “bread and butter” of rope rescue.

Payment or signed purchase order is due June 19, 2019
Pre-requisites: Age 18 and up
Students will need to bring a class III harness, helmet, rope gloves, sturdy shoes or boots, and eye protection.
Electronic certificates indicating compliance with NFPA 1006, 2017 edition will be issued from Elder Technical Rescue Services, LLC.
