Description:
Lockout/Tagout procedures are performed to control hazardous energy. The various forms of hazardous energy in the workplace include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, thermal, chemical, hydraulic, and gravity. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to identify lockout/tagout devices, understand the roles and responsibilities of authorized, affected, and other employees, and describe the requirements of OSHA 1910.147 The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) as it related to an organization's energy control plan.

Certificates and Wallet Cards:
Immediately upon completion of the class, students will be able to download an electronic certificate of training from Elder Technical Rescue Services, LLC. Printed certificates of training and wallet cards issued by the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) can be mailed to the student for an additional administrative fee of $40.
