Intro to Elevator Emergencies (Open Enrollment)
September 17, 2021 in Conshohocken
This 2-hour course is presented by Michael A. Dragonetti of Dragon Rescue Management, Inc. and is designed for trained professionals that respond to emergencies involving stalled elevators. Emergency personnel with inadequate training in handling elevator emergencies are exposed to an increased risk of injury or death to both the victim and themselves. This introductory course will provide emergency responders with classroom training on how to safely and effectively respond to elevator emergencies in their communities.
Please note that this is NOT the full 8-hour Awareness Level class required as a pre-requisite to participate in the Operations Level class on September 18. This 2-hour introductory class is intended to give students with no previous elevator emergency training an introduction to the topic. It can also serve as a valuable refresher for those with previous training.
Class will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Spring Mill Fire Company No. 1 (1210 E. Hector Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428).
Operations Level Students:
If you are registering for the Operations Level class on September 18, please do NOT also register for this class. Your Operations Level registration includes this class to serve as an optional review prior to hands-on training. Please email us if you have any questions.
